A Big Welcome, Giselle!

Two weeks ago, we were did not know what to expect. Nothing could prepare us for Giselle. We were so proud to bring her into this world and into our family of two, now three.

I must say we are all very thankful for all the prayers which led up to a smooth and successful delivery. Much thanks to my wife for all the hard work, carying and nurturing the baby for 9 months right up to the delivery. A natural delivery.

We could not have asked for more. Giselle and her cuteness. She kept us terribly awake for the first week and still does occasionally. While it took me a year to gain 2KGs, I’ve just lost it in the last 2 weeks. Who said dads gets fat.

My wife and I are very thankful for all the wishes and gifts which our friends, family and colleagues have sent. It is indeed a bundle of joy, aside to her terribly loud screams in the middle of the nights.

Not a picture I would imagine or even dreamt of but thank you Giselle for coming into our lives. We hope to be the best parents we can for you. May you grow healthly with God’s grace and blessings.

We decided to test run our baby and stroller after a week. Out in our favourite park, Richmond. Had a lovely brunch with some fresh air and greens all around.

There are also two important people we would like to share our thanks, my mum in-law and wife’s cousin Emily for coming over to support us in many ways we could not have imagined.
